Why Tekmon

The Challenge

Paper-based Administrative Challenges Across Subcontractors:
Managing quality assurance for over 100 active engineering subcontractors depended on printing extensive physical paper packs. Data from the worksite stayed on-site until post-possession handovers, leading office managers and compliance teams to rely on delayed, retrospective reports.

Broken Site-to-Office Communication Loops:
Track-side engineers' critical readings and as-builts lacked a direct connection with central management. This disjointed communication caused significant sign-off delays, hindering operational decisions during narrow track access windows.

Audit Risks & Late Defect Detection:
Without real-time validation of data entry, quality issues or errors in track-side forms were often found days after shifts, increasing rework costs and raising compliance risks when issues were identified after equipment went live.

Not Consolidated View of Labour and Plant on Site: Planned labour on task briefings could not be systematically reconciled against who actually booked on per shift. Disconnected spreadsheets documenting absences, supplier variations were making labour assurance across teams and suppliers invisible to central management.

Embedded Power BI Analytics on Live Field Data

Every form feeds directly into embedded Power BI reports inside the platform. For example, compliance leads review Bottom Ballast survey conformance by project, week, and survey method. Quality assurance teams track every issue and NCR through its lifecycle and monitor Cost of Rework per project against a hard 2% upper limit, with EAR cost and rework percentage visible side by side.

Offline-First Field Execution Across Subterranean Worksites

Designed specifically for deep subterranean environments and zero-connectivity track sections, engineers capture asset readings, attach photo evidence, and complete safety checklists fully offline. Data automatically syncs the moment the device reconnects, ensuring zero data loss during tight overnight shifts.
